Shoryo Uma (Spirit Horse in English) are "vehicles" made with vegetables to welcome home and send off deceased ancestors during the Obon period in Japan. This product is a plastic model kit of a Shoryo Uma! Despite the word "horse" in its name, the eggplant is believed to be the cow that sends spirits off, while the cucumber is believed to be the horse that welcomes spirits home. While each vegetable is made with plastic parts, the texture of the actual vegetables have been realistically recreated. The legs are also made of plastic (PS). The base of the legs are ball joints with each of the four joints articulated. The bodies of the vegetables also have 10 3mm holes. The legs of the model can not only be attached to the model but also be customized to suit different poses.

*The product photos show an assembled and painted complete model. *The model is separated into 3 different colored runners. Green (cucumber), purple (eggplant), light yellow (legs). *Adhesive is not required.
